Emulsion decorative render
Emulsion based renders are applied as surface finishes and have both a decorative and protective function. They are either applied in white or coloured. Alternatively, a colour coating can be applied afterwards. Additional structural effects can be obtained with emulsion based renders by different application techniques. These renders (also called stuccos) are often classified according to the application procedure: brush-applied, roller-applied or spray-applied render. Tylose® enhances the adhesion to the substrate and optimises sag resistance. Furthermore the addition of Tylose® brings elasticity, regulates the consistency and gives longer open time.
Tylose® MH grades with a low to medium viscosity level are normally used.

Building materials
Tylose® is an essential component in many building materials. It is mainly responsible for water retention, consistency and adhesion. The homogeneity, stability and workability of mortars are improved by the use of Tylose®. Using Tylose® enables the manufacturing of modern and efficient construction materials, such as machine plasters and thin bed adhesives.
