Emulsion tile adhesive
Emulsion based tile adhesives are used for applying tiles by the ‘thin-bed’ method. After setting, they are highly flexible and can be used on various different substrates. In emulsion based tile adhesives, Tylose® is used to regulate application properties as well as for water retention. Apart from good adhesion to the substrate, Tylose® helps to fulfill the stringent demands on tile adhesives used in the ‘thin-bed’ method. The strength of emulsion based tile adhesives after immersion in water is normally lower compared to cementitious tile adhesives.
In emulsion based tile adhesives, Tylose® H and MH types with a medium viscosity level are recommended.

Building materials
Tylose® is an essential component in many building materials. It is mainly responsible for water retention, consistency and adhesion. The homogeneity, stability and workability of mortars are improved by the use of Tylose®. Using Tylose® enables the manufacturing of modern and efficient construction materials, such as machine plasters and thin bed adhesives.
